1. Save the Dates! - Annual Conference featuring Dr. Phil Ryken

We are happy to be partnering with KKMS AM 980 to bring you our annual conference featuring Dr. Phil Ryken, author, radio host, Alliance of Confessing Evangelicals board member and pastor of Tenth Presbyterian Church in Philadelphia, PA. This combined FaithBuilders and Reformation Society event, "City on a Hill," will explore the nature of the church in the world. Pastor John Shaw of Mission Orthodox Presbyterian Church will also be one of the presenters.

Tickets are just $9.80 for general admission or $15 for preferred seating, available through Northwestern Bookstores as well as the KKMS Radio Store.


SPECIAL BONUS EVENT FOR REFORMATION SOCIETY MEMBERS: As a supporter of the Reformation Society you are invited to meet Dr. Ryken at a private event at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, January 26. Mission Orthodox Presbyterian Church will host a pizza party and discussion with Dr. Ryken focused on urban ministry. Please send an e-mail to RSVP or for further details - no later than Wednesday, January 24, please! There is no charge to attend, but an offering will be collected.


2. 2007 Study Topics Announced

Dates, Times and Locations for 2007 Reformation Society Bible Studies will be announced at the January 27 conference and will be available at this website, http://www.reformationsociety-tc.org

This year our topics will be based on the Five "Solas" of the Reformation:
  • Sola Scriptura - Scripture Alone
  • Solus Christus - Christ Alone
  • Sola Gratia - Grace Alone
  • Sola Fide - Faith Alone
  • Soli Deo Gloria - For the Glory of God Alone

3. Reformation Radio Broadcasts

We continue to sponsor two programs on KKMS on Sunday evenings:
  • Every Last Word,featuring the instruction of Dr. Phil Ryken, airs at 8:00 p.m.
  • The White Horse Inn, a roundtable discussion of theological issues from the Reformed perspective, airs at 8:30 p.m.
